Our agents are our business partners and often our first contact with students. We have outlined a few important points below to keep our agents up to date with New Zealand regulations.
Code of Practice
We are a signatory to the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students. Therefore, it is compulsory for us to inform you that you also have to comply with the Code regulations, given that you are involved in the recruitment, applications process and travel arrangement support, for International students. A copy of the code in your language is available on www.minedu.govt.nz/CodeOfPractice
Immigration Advisors Authority (IAA)
There is now a law in place to promote and protect the interests of people receiving immigration advice and to enhance the reputation of New Zealand as a migration destination. Therefore, we recommend that you visit the IAA site for the latest information.
As from the 4 May 2010 you must register with IAA to become licensed and legally provide any information about immigration to New Zealand to prospective students. Licensing applies to anyone who provides immigration advice including, for example, immigration consultants and advisers in the recruitment, travel and education sectors.
