This qualification consists of six papers from the NZ Diploma in Business. You need to pass in four compulsory business papers plus two Elective papers in management areas to complete the qualification.
First Year - for all students
First semester papers
All papers are compulsory
530 Organisation and Management (Compulsory)
Management and the organisational context within which management is performed
550 Business Computing (Elective)
Information technology in a business environment; personal productivity and problem solving using business application tools.
560 Business Communication (Compulsory)
Communication: principles; in the workplace; in emerging technology; effective interpersonal, group and organisational.
Second semester papers
Two compulsory papers and one Elective paper:
630 Leadership (Compulsory)
The principles and practice of business leadership; the leadership process; encourages an innovative approach to thinking and critical reflection
636 Applied Management
To practice and develop management skills in a real / simulated environment and to implement a project relevant to a real situation.
