What happens if I do not complete the programme?
Our Refund Policy states:
- If you withdraw within the first eight days of the start of the course, then a full refund will be given to you, less administration costs of up to 10 per cent of any amount paid or $500 whichever is the lesser.
- If you have been on the course for nine days or more, you will not receive any refund for the fees paid and leave with no qualification.
- In any of the above cases, Immigration New Zealand will be notified that you are no longer our student.
What happens if KAAT does not complete the programme?
- We will offer you alternative training dates, OR
- You will be entitled to a pro-rata refund of fees paid, (less 10 per cent of the amount paid or $500 whichever is the lesser) and less 15 per cent of the reminder of the tuition fees if the course closer event occurs after the ninth day.
This refund will be paid (by Public Trust Fee Protection) to any alternative provider, third party specified by you, or to you directly.
Why do I have to pay the full programme fee before I start?
Immigration New Zealand will only issue your Student Visa once you have paid your fees in full. These fees are protected in your Public Trust personal account, and released to KAAT in instalments during your programme of study.
